California and life decisions...

After getting back from Florida for approximately one day, I repacked and headed off to beautiful California for a job interview with my good friend Torian! The job ended up not being for us, but it was good seeing L.A. and Hollywood and seeing my brother Mark! I got back late on Sunday and then started my busy life back up again. For all of you who do not know, I graduate in less than two months. I have no clue what I want to do. At this point, it looks like I may take a couple months off to study for the boards and continue to look for an amazing job. So far, two job offers with no acceptances.
This is a picture of when we were in Hollywood. It is very smoggy in L.A. as you can see.
Here is a picture of Torian and I eating Vietnamese food in downtown L.A. I went to see Mark and Brooke and Hope on one of the days and here is a picture of Hope and I. What a cutie!

so I haven't posted on my blog in a very long time. But here goes! Micah, this means you have to now!

I went to Florida on Spring Break and here is a picture from that. I went with my roommate Lauren H. and her family. It was a great time. I did a whole lot of nothing and slept a lot! It was a very relaxing trip and I managed to get a nice tan!

big people onesies

About 3 months ago I went on an adventure to find an adult onesie or sleeper. My friend Torian had one with polar bears and she said it helped to wear in her freezing cold house, so I thought I would try it out. I bought one with big hearts and bought one with clouds on it for my good friend Cindy.

I wear it all the time. Here's a picture of me in it....the back is pretty hideous--it has elastic and makes my booty look gigantic. :)

cleaning, cleaning, and more cleaning

My roommate Marie and I went on a cleaning rampage the other day--one that was badly needed. Here's a picture of me cleaning and also one of our clean stove.

babies and bowling

Yesterday I went to see Peter Lloyd with my mom. He is so cute and I held him for like an hour. My mother also made two huge pots of chili and spaghetti for Seth--leave it to her to make food for 20 for one person :)

This morning I had my first real day of bowling class. We are bowling at East brook lanes. Today, we just had to bowl two games so our professor could place us in a team. I definitely did not do so great. I got an 87 and a 91.

Some interesting facts:
-each lane is 60 feet from the start line to the head pin
-there is 12 inches between each pin
-the heaviest ball is 16 lbs
-you should pick a ball that is approximately 10% of you body weight

Well, I went to Costco tonight with madre and I got a take and bake pizza. mmmmmm it's pretty delicious. Going to Costco always reminds me of when I worked at good ole Gordon Food Service. I do not miss it at all to tell you the truth.

Here is a picture of Gordon fun--it's Lauren and I in the break room. I used to wear the freezer pants while i cashiered because I multi-tasked and would be a stocker/back up cashier. It was pretty great.

a year ago this month

I was in Guatemala a year ago this month for interim. It was a good time, but I am glad that I am not there right now. Here are some pics from the trip. In this picture we are extremely close to hot flowing lava on top of a volcano we climbed...definitely not allowed in the USA. In this picture, Lauren and I are on top of a Mayan ruin in Guatemala.

Oh, so you all know I just payed my tuition bill and I am now learning how to live with absolutely no money, which I am not used to. For me that means no baking, no Ben and Jerry's ice cream runs and NO coffee....a sad sad day. It will not last for long hopefully.

Here's a picture of my good friend Laura helping me part with my hard earned tuition money.
